Terms of Service

By creating an account or using PaxSense, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. PaxSense is operated by Kadexus, a sole proprietorship based in India.

These terms apply to the beta version of PaxSense currently available at paxsense.app. Features and policies may evolve as the product develops.

PaxSense is a personal finance tool that analyses bank statement PDFs to give you a clear picture of your monthly income, spending, and savings. It is an informational tool only — PaxSense does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, tax guidance, or any regulated financial service.

The insights, categorisations, and summaries generated by PaxSense are produced automatically by AI and may not always be accurate. You should verify important financial information independently before acting on it.

PaxSense is currently in beta. This means the service is still being developed and tested. During beta:

• Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly
• The service may be unavailable from time to time
• We may contact you for feedback on your experience
• PaxSense is free to use during the beta period

We will provide reasonable notice before introducing any paid features or ending the free beta period.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials with anyone. You must be at least 18 years old to use PaxSense. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of your financial data. By uploading a bank statement, you grant PaxSense a limited licence to process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any document you provide to PaxSense. Please only upload your own bank statements.

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you do not own or have no right to process
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the service

PaxSense uses AI to parse and categorise your transactions. While we work hard to make this accurate, automated categorisation is not perfect. Merchant names may occasionally be misidentified, and categories may not always reflect your intended spending classification.

Do not rely on PaxSense as the sole record of your finances. Always refer to your official bank statements for authoritative transaction data.

We aim to keep PaxSense available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service unavailability.

PaxSense is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Kadexus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to financial decisions made based on information provided by PaxSense.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the app. Continued use of PaxSense after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of PaxSense shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
